TUTU HIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully as they form a legal agreement between yourself and A Tutu Tale.

AVAILABILITY

It is recommended that hire bookings be placed as early as possible as some tutus/costumes have high demand during concert and eisteddfod seasons.  

 

FIT

Due to administrative and cleaning costs. A Tutu Tale will only refund 50% of the paid amount for incorrect choice, fit or change of mind. The fit measurements of each tutu are clearly listed under the item descriptions on our website. It is recommended that you carefully measure your dancer prior to placing an order. Please email us at contact@atututale.com.au if you need any assistance with sizing.

 

CARE AND CLEANING

Tutus and costumes will be fully cleaned, in an excellent condition and stored in a professional tutu/costume bag when provided for hire. While the hire fee covers standard tutu cleaning, garments must be returned free of stains and body odour. All tutus or costumes returned will be examined and an additional cleaning fee of $40 charged if required.

 

ALTERATIONS

Tutus must not be altered to fit and must be returned in their original condition. Tutus must not be cut, dyed, painted or altered, and tape, iron-on bonding-web, glue or any other type of adhesives must not be used. If a costume is returned altered or damaged, full replacements fees (as listed on the website item description) will be charged.

 

DAMAGES

When hiring a tutu or costume, you are agreeing to return it in the condition in which it was received. Normal wear and tear on costumes is expected and will not incur extra charges. Damage beyond normal wear and tear (including tears, cuts, burns, broken closures, detached pieces or decorations, make up or other permanent stains) will be charged for the cost of repair (up to $100) or for the full replacement cost. Please advise A Tutu Tale of any damage that occurs.

 

TUTU RETURN

As our tutus and costumes often have waiting lists, any garment not returned on or before the due date will be charged a late fee of $10 per day. If not returned within 7 days after the agreed return date, the full replacement value of the tutu/costume will be charged.

 

PAYMENT

All payments are to be made via A Tutu Tale’s website. A receipt will automatically be generated following each online purchase.

 

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Proceeding with a tutu or costume hire via our website will be deemed as legal comprehension and acceptance of the above listed conditions of hire. The person hiring the tutu or costume will assume full responsibility for the garment until it is returned to A Tutu Tale
